A new month is upon us, and along with it comes a month-filled with reasons to celebrate love and romance!

    Monthly Themes:

    -National Humor Month (watch a favorite comedy or take in a show together for a date this month)

    -National Garden Month (plant a garden together...a wonderful way to bond)

    -National Read-A- Map Month (take a spontaneous road trip, pointing to a map and setting out for a weekend adventure)

    -Keep America Beautiful Month

    -Listening Awareness Month (practice and honor the skill quality listening in your relationship)

    -Month of the Young Child (if you are parents, spend a family day at the park)

    -Pets Are Wonderful Month (with or without kids, take your pet and your mate out for a day of fun in the sun!)

    -Zoo and Aquarium Month (visit one together this April)

    Special Weeks:

    First Week --National Birthplace Week (visit both of your birth towns to reconnect to your roots)

    -Second Week --National Week of the Ocean (plan a vacation to some place near the ocean with your honey)

    - National Astronomy Week (visit a planetarium for a special date this week)

    -Third Week --National Library Week (spend a lazy Saturday afternoon browsing and choosing books for each other)

    Fourth Week --National Reading Is Fun Week (Read to each other in bed)

    -- National Wildlife Week (take a nature hike as a couple event. Be sure to bring a camera)

    --6th Annual National TV-Turnoff Week (vow to forego the tube and replace that empty space with some couple time. Light candles, talk, eat in, cuddle, read together, or make love on that unused couch!)

    --National Volunteers Week (sign up for a special cause together.)

    --National Family Reading Week (set up a family/couple book night and take turns reading to each other)

    Special Days:

    1- April Fool's Day (play a fun joke on your honey today!)

    2- International Children's Book Day (take your children to the bookstore, then pick out something erotic to read to each other after the kid's bedtime)

    - Daylight Savings Time begins (Time to "Spring Forward" again. More daylight hours means more time to do fun things together)

    4 -Take-A-Walk-Around-The-Block Day (hand-in-hand strolling for two, preferably at sunrise or sunset for the added romance factor)

    7- World Health Day (start or renew your joint exercise and/or diet plan and support each other)

    -No Housework Day (set aside the vacuum and dust rags for the day. Go out and enjoy the day- -or night-- with your honey, instead!)
