From ceremonies as basic as blowing out birthday candles to memorial lightings, these rituals possess sentimental and symbolic meanings. Consider how candles remind us of all we treasure most in our lives. Even when the wishes we make in their flame's glow don't magically come true, we still can gain guidance through their influence. After all, defining our innermost desires is often the first step in making our dreams actually take flight.
To further a candle's spiritual effect, the use of Aromatherapy may be even more beneficial. These rituals for bringing positive qualities into our beings are continually emerging. Candles containing blends of essential oils are believed to influence body organs and systems, as well as induce specific emotions. Since my focus, here, is on romance, I'll present the suggested ritual for attracting positive love. Candles in shades of red or pink, and scents of rose, jasmine, vanilla or gardenia are ideal. By burning these types of candles and reflecting on feelings of being and/or falling in love, it is considered possible to increase passion, affection and, above all, feelings of love.
No, burning a candle most likely won't make Prince Charming or Princess Enchantment magically appear on your doorstep (please inform me immediately if it does), but it may just help you clarify your desires and enhance your romantic mind-set in the process! So, take my advice, go dig out a candle right now, create your personal love-filled shrine, strike up a flame, and absorb all the romantic auras you can consume!!
