Make A Date TraditionIf a weekly date night isn't feasible or practical, or you want to make it more unique and special, designate a monthly romantic rendezvous for two! Pre-set one night per month to share exclusively and romantically, of course, with your partner. That is "doable" even for those with super hectic schedules. After all, what else could be so renewing and worth the effort? First thing to do is set that magical night for your date. It's best to use the same each month, just because it's easier to plan and less likely to be forgotten. Consider making your night (or full day, if you wish) the first or last Saturday of the month or perhaps the day number which is already significant for you (ie an anniversary date or day of the month you first met, etc.). Next, take turns being in charge of the no-exceptions date. Each month, alternate which one of you will make all the preparations. Try to keep the planning secretive until the actual date, sort of to add that ever sexy element of surprise to the event. It also makes it more exciting to not know what to expect, and to let your mate prepare a night/day of love for you. Now, select a large basket or bag (whatever works for you) to use as the organizer. Stock it with props, gifts, treats, and activity starters for your date. Begin filling the basket by considering what the theme or focus of the night will be. What sort of mood would you like to create? Will you be staying in, going out, primarily cuddling, eating dinner, pampering your significant other?? Ideas for a staying in bag/basket: Ideas for a going out bag/basket:
