Easter Romance

Baskets filled with jelly beans and marshmallow peeps galore, dyeing eggs to later hunt, decorating the home and wardrobe with splashes of pastels, colorful straw hats, fuzzy pink bunnies and greeting cards - isn't all the Easter fun geared for the kids? Not if you're creative and romantic at heart! The season holds so many uplifting messages and promises which adults can - and should - savor too.

The presence of Spirit in our lives should be forefront. This not only includes whatever religious power you honor, but also the very presence of love in your world. It's a time to welcome the glories of spring and the return of warm, cheerful days. It's also time to reflect on our gifts, those we already have in our lives. In such light, let's focus on the true spirit of the season, which extends far beyond the commercialism, and make a celebration of spirit and romance. We can accomplish this and still have lots of (adult) fun - with all the treats unique to this precious Easter season.

Suggestions :

Ladies: pick out a sexy Easter outfit to model just for your partner on your special Easter date (can include gloves, hats, pumps, lingerie or a pretty floral dress...whatever says romantically Easter to you!)

Guys: Same goes for you...choose a nice outfit and perhaps wear your partner's favorite cologne or after shave for your romantic celebration

Next, each of you should create one-of-a-kind, personalized toward your honey, baskets to present (and ideally share) during your chosen and scheduled event!

Items to consider, along with your own:

pastel-colored chalk or water-based markers (to use for affectionate notes...like on a mirror, porch, shower, windows, etc.)

flowers (traditional Easter varieties: tulips, hyacinths - very aromatic, daffodils, lilies, or mums) or include seed packets which you can plant together - choosing either your mate's favorites, or just ones with significant names/meanings...such as forget me nots, sweetheart roses, passion flowers, bleeding hearts...

definitely chocolates (for the aphrodisiac quality, along with the indulgence in taste)

Jelly Bellys (they have the neatest and most exotic variety which are fun to feed each other and guess the flavor)

marshmallow bunnies or peeps (you know...those sugary, gooey delights that come in yellow chicks, or colorful bunnies! Ditto with the feeding each other part, here!)

plastic opening eggs to fill with lots of delights such as: endearing or suggestive notes, ideas, wishes, or fantasy starters; small gifts like jewelry or a sexy pair of panties; or use for store and then hiding step-by-step clues to an adult version of an egg hunt (scatter the eggs for your sweetie to search for them. Within each, give clues to the next egg's hidden location or a new and different suggestion for what you'd like your partner to do).
