What is the key to couple happiness? One of the top components of a healthy and heart-ful relationship, is simply that the partners are committed to making each other feel special and appreciated. I'm simply referring to the day-to-day ways to not only acknowledge the passion, but cherish and celebrate it continually. It's actually those simple, daily moments which build and nurture the quality of a bond.

Some simple suggestion for an ongoing courtship:

offer a one-minute hug when he/she comes home from work

softly kiss the back of your lover's neck while he/she prepares dinner or relaxes

make a meal and serve your mate

hold hands whenever you go out

take a couple walk on Saturday mornings or one evening each week

rent a movie and devote that two hours to just being together

shower or bath together - wash each other's hair for a tender and erotic experience

while there, soap each other up, slowly, taking care to honor each other body

buy a bottle of scented massage oil and place it on the bathroom or bedroom counter as a hint

purchase a sensual massage technique video and practice one evening

before bed each night, thank each other for a quality you cherish or one helpful/tender thing he/she did for you that day that you appreciated

always vow to say "I love you" before bed

commit to one night one weekly, or at least monthly if you're very busy (hint: if you unfortunately fall into the latter, consider taking time out to plan dates. This makes them more concrete and less likely to be consumed by errands and tasks.
