Kacy’s husband Alex walked off the pier in the middle of a thunderstorm. Alex is declared dead. She moves to her granny’s home in Ireland; her only companion, her dog, Mac. There is an old ring fort near her home called Dunbeg. She sees shadows near the fort one day while playing with Mac but ignores it as a shadow. Braedon Roche meets Kacy at Finnegan’s Folly. Finding Kacy attractive, Braedon finds out that this is the very woman he travelled to Ireland to destroy. He is at pub under the pretense of a vacation and Kacy offers to show him around Dunbeg, which is near her home. Enrico Gienelli sweats getting through customs and into Ireland. He’s made a name for himself in the art world. He also wants to catch up with Kacy, believing that she can help him by making forgeries since she is a big name in art restoration. Gienelli is going by the name Professor Eduardo Baucomo. Kacy refuses to let a relationship develop with Braedon. Everyone she loves ends up dead. Lastly, Max Madison, a woman hater and Alex’s twin brother, is just released from Riker's prison. He hates women and vows to find Kacy because she has something that belongs to him. The professor is surprised to find Braedon has beaten him to finding Kacy, but doesn’t let on that he knows who Braedon is. And when Max arrives in Ireland, watch out. Dee Davis has a B.A. in Political Science and History, and a Masters Degree in Public Administration. During a ten-year career in public relations, she wrote television and radio commercials, three award winning public service announcements, and multimedia presentations for several large organizations. Davis is a member of the Romance Writers of America and various community volunteer organizations. Right now, the time she doesn’t spend at the computer is spent with her husband, daughter and cat. It goes from bad to worse for the heroine. A dark and mysterious suspense in Ireland. A lovable and sympathetic heroine, a strong hero and villains that you want to be sure get their just rewards. After Twilight has a tight written plot that kept me turning pages late into the night. 3 stars Go To Page: 1
