Julia has been teaching first grade and has a child in her class she is concerned about named Jeff she doesn’t want to leave. She is sure Jeff has been emotionally abused. Seth volunteers to help, especially if that helps her get back to the lab. Seth finds out that Jeff has not only been emotionally abused but physical as well. Seth forms a friendship with Jeff. When the father tries to run Seth off, Seth tells him he will have the cops there checking on Jeff every two hours if he won’t let him keep an eye on him. The father backs down. When Julia left she didn’t tell anyone why. She couldn’t. She has been on the run from Karl (her abusive ex-husband). As soon as Julia goes back to work with Seth there is a security breach. Someone has taken the Home Base sensor codes that can turn their project loose will kill millions of people. Julia doesn’t want to suspect Seth but he taught her well and no one can be trusted when there is a breach. Is someone trying to frame Seth? They used his ID card to get the sensor codes. They meet Agent 12 at Office of Special Investigations. Agent 12 is the only one that knew why Julia left before and thank goodness he didn’t let on to Seth. Julia gets a surprise call from Karl. He found her. Again. Julia does some checking on her own to see if she can get a lead on anyone wanting to frame Seth. Julia tells Seth of her attack but doesn’t tell him that Karl did it. Seth has been in love with Julia but never acted on it because she was married to Karl. Julia does a little investigating on her own. Seth wants to know why Karl hasn’t done anything about her threatening calls she has been receiving up to 5 times a week. Julia says Karl thinks she is being paranoid. Seth talks to Agent 12 about Julia. Agent 12 cannot tell Seth what he knows about Julia’s case but he does tell Seth that it is hard to prove that someone is being stalked in Florida. Agent 12 tells Seth “off the record” to get a .38 and teach her to shoot to kill because if she doesn’t she will never be free of the stalker. If she shot to wound, the stalker’s attorneys would get her to pay all his bills and she would probably do jail time. Go To Page: 1 2 |
