Black and Blue. The Stones stop the broadcast to stop bootleg copies appearing before the official release at the end of the month

1 Keith and Anita are allowed to fly from Toronto to New York so that Keith can get treatment for his addiction and tend to business. The Stones re-sign with Atlantic Records. The contract is said to be worth $21 million. It is announced that Earl McGrath will replace Marshal Chess as the head of Rolling Stones Records
