26 "The Last Time”/”Play With Fire" is released in the UK. Mick Jagger’s ankle is injured when fans rush the stage during a live appearance on Ready Steady Go!. Mick says, “I thudded down on the floor and a mass of girls smothered me, I was stamped on by scores of stiletto heels."

1966
21 City Hall, Brisbane, Australia. 5000 fans greet the band when they arrive at Brisbane airport.
22 Centennial Hall, Adelaide, Australia. The Stones recorda a spot on Top Of The Pops
23 - 26 Palais Theatre, St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia. The first show is recorded and later played on Radio 3UZ Melbourne
24 During a concert the fans rush the stage. After the show, Keith is taken to the hospital for a cut on his eye

1969
22 “Something Better”/”Sister Morphine” is released by Marianne Faithfull. The single is produced by Mick. The B-side song is credited to Jagger, Richards, Faithfull

1976
26 Bill Wyman releases his second solo album Stone Alone, on which he sings, plays bass, guitar, piano and percussion

1977
24 Keith and Anita Pallenberg are stopped at the Toronto airport while Anita’s 28 bags are checked. Anita is arrested and charged with possession of heroin and cannabis. She is released on a promise-to-appear notice. Three days later Keith is busted for possession with the intent to re-sell.

1983
25 John Ryles, literary editor of the Sunday Times is hired as a “technical writer” for Mick Jagger’s autobiography

1984
21 Bill presents a posthumous award to the wife of Alexis Korner at the Daily Mirror British Rock Awards in London. It is here that Bill first sees Mandy Smith
