15 "Let's Spend The Night Together" released. The Stones record an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Mick mumbles the lyrics rather than change them to suit Sullivan

1973
9 Australia officially lifts the ban against the Stones entering the country
10 "Billboard" magazine votes the Rolling Stones Best Band of 1972. Mick announces his intention to have the band play a benefit consort for earthquake victims in Managua
14 The Stone rehearse in Los Angeles for the up coming Australian tour. All Japanese dates have been canceled due to Mick being banned from entering the country. The Japanese government sites Mick’s 1966 drug conviction as the reason for the ban

1974
12”Brown Sugar”/”Bitch”/”Let It Rock” re-issued by Rolling Stones Records
14 The Stones fly to Munich to continue recording

1976
9 David Bowie rehearses at Keith Richard's home in Jamaica for his American tour
10 Ron Wood and the Stones meet in New York to discuss Ron’s joining the band
13 Mick visits Andy Warhol’s Factory to sign some prints the artist made of him. The individual prints sell for $875
15 Mick Taylor auctions off his gold record for It’s Only Rock and Roll. The record now lives at the Hard Rock CafĂ© in Vancouver

1977
10-11 Keith in court on drug charges. Drugs were found in his car after he crashed it. He claims he didn’t know they were there
12 Keith is charged with possession of cocaine. Charges of LSD possession are dropped. Keith pays his fine and walks out

1982
11 “Hang Fire”/”Neighbors” is released in the US on Rolling Stones Records
14 Bill Wyman releases his solo album Bill Wyman
