24 Empress Ballroom, Blackpool, Lancashire. Someone spits at Brian and Keith takes offense. Two police officers and 30 fans are injured in the ensuing riot. The band has to run for their lives. Four fans are later charged with assault. Of the incident Mick later says, "Some people in the audience obviously didn't like us. We just had enough."

1965
18 Gaumont Theatre, Bournemouth, Hampshire. In Austria and Germany the 10" LP "Beat Beat Beat" is released for a short time.
23 Brian, Mick and Bill are fined for the infamous Romford Road incident. The Daily Express reported that the three were "rebuked for not setting a higher moral standard for their fans".

18 The Stones have problems with fog on route to Boston. In Warwick, Rhode Island Mick, Marshal Chess and filmmaker Robert Frank are charged with obstructing a police officer. Keith is charged with assault after a fight with a photographer and a reporter. Boston's mayor, Kevin White bails the boys out so they can play.

20 "Anita's boyfriend" Scott Cantrell (17) kills himself with a .38 Smith and Wesson revolver found in Fog Hollow (Keith and Anita's house in South Salem, Westchester County). Anita is questioned for 12 hours.
