Ronnie Accosted by Drunk at Brit Awards
Ronnie Wood squared up to club DJ Brandon Block as Block got on stage while Wood and actress Thora Birch presented the best soundtrack prize to Notting Hill. There was much swearing and drink throwing until guards managed to escort Block from the stage. Wood also swore during a live BBC Radio1 interview about the incident.

The BBC seems to think that Ronnie was mostly at fault in this incident because he did not handle the drunk like a gentleman should have.

Britney Does Mick?
Britney Spears will do a cover of "Satisfaction" on her new album due to be released in May 2000. R&B producer Rodney Jenkins and Mutt Lang will help out with the album The first single, "Oops! I Did It Again," will be released on March 27.

New Charlie Watts Project
Charlie Watts and session drummer, Jim Keltner have formed the Charlie Watts/Jim Keltner Project and will release an album together on April 25th. The type of music to be featured on the album is being kept under wraps.

Mick Jagger went undercover in Columbia recently to research a movie about Cuban revolutionary Ch Guevara. Jagger's new film company is working on their first big- budget feature, starring Antonio Banderas. Jagger donned a shabby T-shirt and army fatigues and wandered around Bogota looking for possible locations.
