Rare Stones Up For Grabs
Good Rockin' Tonight (GRT) has announced that it will feature a first state sealed stereo copy of the Beatles' "Butcher Cover" LP ('Yesterday and Today," Capitol, 1966) in its upcoming August 5 auction, as well as an ultra-rare U.S. picture sleeve for the Rolling Stones' "Street Fighting Man" (London, 1968).

The U.S. picture sleeve for "Street Fighting Man' by the Rolling Stones also triggered controversy, with cover photos that graphically depicted police brutality. In the wake of the violence at the Chicago Democratic Convention (where the cover photos were taken), London Records almost instantly decided to discontinue the original sleeve for this 45. Only 12 copies are believed to exist, according to Goldmine's Price Guide to 45 rpm Records. The original picture sleeve offered by GRT is graded a solid EX 7, and is understandably of keen interest to collectors.

Bianca Jagger Talks
Bianca Jagger divorced her famous husband two decades ago, but she still has trouble shaking her image as a rock 'n' roll wife.

"I'm on the board of very important organizations," she told The New Yorker magazine. "I think I've paid my dues. I've earned my respect regardless of whether I was married to Mick or the cleaner in the street!"

Ms. Jagger, who has been traveling the world to promote human rights for years, recently visited refugee camps in the Balkans and is a strong supporter of NATO's military action against Serbia.

She and Mick Jagger, the frontman for the Rolling Stones, were divorced in 1979.

Worldwide Concert Tour of the British Rock Symphony Begins At Royal Albert Hall
Roger Daltrey, Alice Cooper, Gary Brooker, Paul Young and Darlene Love will be among the luminaries to launch the British Rock Symphony worldwide tour.

The Royal Albert Hall concert in London on June 28th will serve as the setting for these legendary rock 'n rollers as they perform the greatest classic rock songs backed by an orchestra and gospel choir. In the words of Roger Daltrey - "expect not symphonic rock but rather a rock symphony."

Created by producer David Fishoff, The British Rock Symphony is a tribute to the timeless music of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and the Who.
