18 The Stones go backstage when the Beatles play Royal Albert Hall. Brian is mistaken for one of the Beatles.

13 Stones record for BBC Radio's Saturday Club.
16 The Rolling Stones the first album released. It reaches No. 1 after only 8 days and stays 11 weeks. A show at the Cubi-Club, Rochdale is abandoned because of audience riots.
17 Radio Luxembourg's Nestles' Top Swinging Groups
18 Stones tape is played on Saturday Club. Show at the Locarno Ballroom, Coventry

13-16 Stones play concerts in West Germany and record an appearance for German television.
16-18 Stones play concerts in Paris. Radio Europe No.1 records the first show.
18 ABC-TV shows the Stones recording on Big Beat 65
19 Stones fly back to London to appear on Sunday Night At The London Palladium.

15 Aftermath released, it enters the charts at No. 2. It also spends 7 weeks at No.1.

14 A fan throws Mick Jagger to the ground during a show on Zurich.

15 The Daly Mirror reports that Mick is living with Bianca in St. Tropez.

16 "Brown Sugar/ "Let It Rock" is released in the UK. It enters the charts at No.18 and eventually reaches No. 1. The US version has "Bitch" on the B-side.

14 "Tumblin' Dice"/"Sweet Black Angel" released eventually reaching No. 5 in the UK and No. 10 in the US.
19 Dandelion born to Keith and Anita in Geneva, Switzerland.

16 Tucky Buzzard's album All Right On The Night produced by Bill Wyman is released.

14 Ladies and Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones premieres in New York.

14 Stones announce that Ron Wood has been hired to replace Mick Taylor for a three month summer tour.

13 Sucking In The Seventies is released in the UK on Rolling Stones Records.

18 Ron Wood joins Bobby Womack on stage in New York.

1984
16 Mick testifies in New York for a lawsuit against former manager Allen Klein.

19 Mick releases a solo single: "Lucky In Love". It reaches No. 38 on the US charts.

1986
15 Keith receives a cable from Mick telling him he will not tour behind Dirty Work because he will be working on a solo album.

1988
18 Mick is in court in New York to defend himself against charges that he stole the music and lyrics to his song "Just Another Night". He is found innocent.
