1963 9 Charlie Watts joins the band but he doesn't give up his day job at Charles
Hobson and Grey.
1964 6 Second British Tour begins. Also in the line up are: The Ronettes, Marty Wilde,
Dave Berry and the Cruisers, the Swinging Blue Jeans and Al Paige and the Cheynes.
7 Cyril Davies dies of leukaemia in London.
10 "To Know Him Is To Love Him"/"There Are But Five Rolling Stones" by Cleo
released. Andrew Oldham produced and the Stones played on side "A".
1971 6 Rose Miller, Mick Taylor's girlfriend, gives birth to their daughter Chloe. 7th : Billboard names the Rolling Stones as third best-selling artists in the US from
1960 to 1970.
1973 4 Mick and Bianca are reported missing but turn up in Managua. The Stones are
barred from entering Australia. No reason is given.
8 Japan bars Mick due to his 1966 drug conviction.
9 The Australian ban is lifted.
10 Mick announces plans to play a benefit concert for the earthquake victims in
Managua.
Billboard votes the Rolling Stones Best Band of 1972.
1974 5: Bill Wyman starts his first solo project.
1976 9 David Bowie rents Keith's house in Jamaica to rehearse for an upcoming
tour.
10 Ron Wood and the Rolling Stones meet to discuss business. On of the first
official meetings leading to Wood joining the band.
1977 10-11 Keith in court again. Drugs were found in his car after he crashed it. He
denies knowing the drugs were there.
1978 6 Mick is seen in London with Jerry Hall while Bianca parties in New York with
Bjorn Borg.
1982
11 "Hang Fire"/Neighbours" released.
1987 6 Mick is in Barbados to work on a solo album.
1988 7-8 Mick Taylor joins Ron Wood on stage at Woody's On The Beach.
1993 6 Bill Wyman quits the band.
10-14 Ron Wood's solo tour plays Japan. Rumor has it that he sings karaoke in a
bar after a show.
