Brand-new Kittie product is everywhere. A new EP Paperdoll will be released on December 12th. It features live tracks recorded on tour in Sweden. And don't forget the compilation Spit In Your Eye which contains both live performances and videos. Speaking of videos - the latest release, Charlotte, features the band playing in a field as a plethora of wide-eyed girls watch a bloody teen-age male (presumably a fallen angel) fall off a cliff. It's weird, yes, but oddly affecting.
Kittie have a larger than life onstage presence. Swathed in an array of leather, blood-red and jet-black hair, and studded bracelets, they aren't the kind of girls a good boy would take home to Mom and Dad. Ironically, though, the band was originally managed by Morgan and Mercedes' Dad.
Kittie are truly the opposite of Britney - a little something for the music fan who cannot survive on cotton candy alone.
