* Take her to church. As a precaution, however, use an envelope when you make contributions. You don't want her knowing you gave only a dollar. Those accustomed to handing out change, however, do have a problem. Even inside an envelope, change tends to jingle.

I'm sure the younger generations will have a hard time accepting these ploys but we seniors are much more mature. Live it up folks -- as long as you can stand up on two feet.

These ploys worked when I was a kid. Why shouldn't they work in the 21st century. Once a skinflint always a skinflint. However, the best things in life should not fall out of fashion.
