It would be the most commonly asked question in my survey mail. "Sue- I don't want to waste my time with prize draws. Which companies pay me each time I take a survey?"
Personally, I love survey prize draws. True. They make sense, financially, to the companies. As a survey taker, when you win, oh you win. I guess I have been lucky though. I've won over a thousand Australian dollars, a couple of gift vouchers, a book, and a CD burner, in my two years or so of survey taking and promoting, and the car is next! I tend to think we overvalue our opinions a little, or at least limit our chances of doing well from surveys, when we turn down research opportunities with prizes attached. That said, prizes aren't everyone's cup of tea. That, I respect. In the light of the emails I receive, and receive, and continue to receive, what follows is my "rewards each time list". It includes sites that might be just what you are looking for, if you don't have the time or inclination to "take them all". Since you asked....Here is my list:
The first research site that comes to mind, when thinking of sites that reward 'each time', would be Professor Baron's surveys. They're real brain twisters, leaving you feeling like you really are helping with meaningful research. Although payment can vary, it's usually around $3 per survey. I've been paid several times. Note though that the professor's site is extrememly popular. Expect to miss out, on occasion, when you go to his site at survey time. Another site with a good reputation is the US based Brand Institute. A long long time ago they paid me $45 for a survey. The last one I received was worth around $10, which is still a lot compared to other sites. I have to admit their surveys are fun. You help with the naming of new products or companies. Yes, I am a word lover, but the linguistic questions are among the most enjoyable I've struck online! Lately Brand have been advertising revenue generating programs such as other survey companies or paid email companies, on some of their survey forms. At first that was disconcerting, for me. Perhaps though, that's what allows them to keep paying, and each time. Miller Williams is another company that might be music to the ears of those not keen on prize draws. You can sometimes spend your rewards from that site on music, actually. I've just taken a Miller-Williams survey with a reward of a $15 gift certificate to Amazon.com. They proudly say at their site that there are rewards each time you qualify for and take a survey there, and that there are no prize draws. Qualifying is the key word- they do send screeners just to make sure you are in a sought after demographic group, before being taken to their survey page. You can still miss out, if you aren't who they want. A company operating in a similar way is LiveWires; a site just for Aussies.
