Eat and Earn!
'Tis true, I am writing about food here, or perhaps better, talking about sites that combine both food and something equally rewarding, online surveys.
Some companies described below are interested in our likes and dislikes as food consumers, and will reward us for telling them just what our tastes are! Others have products they wish to improve, and in return for our considered thoughts, shared by way of taking web surveys, they'll send out free samples!
JOIN SOME FOOD RELATED PANELS AND EARN!
The Food Quiz - Win Cash!
The first food opinion panel that comes to mind is the Food Quiz. I guess the food items they ask about do have an American twist, but the panel is open internationally. I've been asked about hot dogs and Mexican flavors, chicken nuggets, crunchy coated nut flavors, appetizer ideas, fast food restaurants..you get it-food! And liking said topic, I've always found them interesting.
This site sends survey notifications to all its members, so you can expect to be contacted every few weeks or so. For each survey, one person wins $500, two win $100, and fifteen respondents win prizes of $20. As you receive an additional chance to win for every survey you have taken in the preceding six month period, it can literally pay to take them all!
The Restaurant Poll - Win Online Vouchers!
This site is quite similar in its goals, and they will also contact you by email when they have a survey for you to take. Being a member enters you in a monthly draw to win gift certificates from sites like Amazon.com, E-Toys, and Fogdog. You need to be a US resident aged 16 or over to take part, and can sign up to do just that at http://www.restaurantpoll.com
The Survey Cafe- Where they Pay in Food!
Thirdly, there is the SurveyCafe. This site doesn't necessarily ask you for your opinion on food. They pay you in it. Yes, for taking their surveys, which are on all sorts of topics, you get rewarded with various food items they have dubbed "Just Desserts." A friend was sent some maple syrup, for sharing her thoughts with them in a survey. Feeling peckish and hopeful of a survey? You'll find the Survey Cafe here.
REVIEW RESTAURANTS AND WIN!
If you are interested in being rewarded for talking about food that happens to have been served to you whilst dining at a restaurant, visit Menu Point, Dine.com (which is also open to Canadians), and How's the Food?. All three sites offer rewards or prizes (such as yes-dinners!) for writing your opinion.
