and choose the appropriate frequency, or medicine, with which to harmonize the illness. Reiki doesn't need diagnosis because it follows its own laws of harmonics and gravitates to the frequencies of predominant disharmony. Simply put, one does need a diagnosis because Reiki does its own.

ARE THERE ANY LEGAL REQUIREMENTS TO PRACTICE REIKI?

A Reiki practitioner does not claim to heal clients. Healing occurs within the client, physically, as the flow of Universal Life Energy is received and accepted.

Reiki does not replace medical care resources for diagnosis and/or treatment of illness and disease; rather, Reiki works in conjunction with other therapies.

Legal practice of Reiki on someone other than yourself does require that one either be an ordained minister, or a layman in a church chose beliefs include spiritual healing, or that one be a licensed health care provider such as a nurse, massage therapist, chiropractor, psychiatrist, doctor, etc.

Before opening a Reiki practice, research is suggested as to compliance with state and local law. I do have my clients sign a waiver stating that they fully understand the above.
