Good Schools vs. Bad Schools?

Eventually, vouchers enter the conversation. The wealthiest children often already attend private schools. Vouchers will simply be more gravy. The middle class families whose schools have been infiltrated by low achievers will use those vouchers to be able to afford good private schools. The poor will have worthless pieces of paper. Those vouchers, by themselves, are not sufficient to pay for even marginal private schooling.

All in all, it is a vicious circle with no beginning and no end in sight. Ultimately, unless we solve the real problems facing our communities, our schools are doomed to fail. Their failure is just a reflection of the overall problems facing this country.
