Rob Schneider Walks on the Wild Side in "The Animal"The only time that the camera—and the audience—isn’t completely focused on Schneider is when his numerous fur-bearing co-stars are upstaging him. Like most films that feature animals in prominent roles, "The Animal" knows to make the most of its four-legged friends. The chemistry between Schneider and the numerous animals within the film is remarkable. His interaction with them almost has viewers believing that these animals really can sense that he isn’t 100% man. One scene in particular, involving an orangutan, will not only have viewers laughing until their sides hurt, but also shows the many sides Schneider has as an actor and a comedian that his past work hadn’t really showcased. "The Animal" is funny and touching film that lets Schneider shine even more than the many characters he played on "SNL" did. Featuring an assortment of adorable and irresistible animals as well as a couple surprise cameos, "The Animal" should keep viewers in stitches long enough to make the movie well worth their time and money. Schneider fans and those who just like a comedy with heart (and lots of fur) shouldn't be disappointed.
