Wheel chairs for the world: Philanthropist (a guy who has more money than he can spend) Mr. Kenneth E. Behring has contributed over $15,000,000 - yes fifteen MILLION dollars for wheelchairs to be given to the needy. He said, "There are more than 20 million people in the world who can't use their legs." What a great thing to do. It is just too bad that people in America have to rely on this type of service to receive something most of us have already earned......
Embargo: Too bad the so-called bleeding heart liberals want to lift the embargo on Mr. Castro and Mr. Saddam Insane (my spelling). Maybe I am old fashioned, or just old. I fought the threat of communism and oppression. Most of the working class today has no idea of the hardships and pain these two evil men have caused. In addition, it has not stopped! Therefore, the great USA should reach out to help these countries? I think not. It is important to first remember why the embargos are in place. These tyrants have murdered, oppressed, and cut off their own people. Why should the good old USA step in??
Russia: So "Slick Willie" wants to clean up the nuclear mess in Russia! 600 zillion dollars of US hard-earned tax dollars to clean up someone else's mess. Why? Why in the heck should we, the taxpayers of this country pay for their screw up? I really believe we should take that 600 zillion and feed our hungry, buy medication for our old folks, and teach our children real values.
Speaking of values,
I remember when every kid in America would speak to an elder with respect. My dad would whop me over the head if I ever were disrespectful to anyone. Now our kids shoot off their dirty mouths and have no respect for anyone, including themselves. What a shame. No wonder we have drive-by shootings, carjackings, and hundreds of other crimes. No values.
Seeking prosthetic devices:
I have had many calls from persons seeking funds for a new prosthetic device, The cost of these is very high and there are a lot of people, that, for whatever reason, do not have the money to get a good prosthetic limb.
