Sunday Dinner

Barbecue Meatballs

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. garlic salt

¾ cup ketchup
3 Tbsp brown sugar
3 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
3 Tbsp vinegar
¼ tsp worshtershire sauce

1. Mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, egg and garlic salt.
2. Roll into 2" balls and brown in greased skillet on medium heat. Drain fat.
3. Combine ketchup, brown sugar, teriyaki sauce, vinegar and worshtershire sauce in a small bowl.
4. Pour over meatballs and bring just to a boil.
5. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

4-6 medium baking potatoes
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
optional ingredients: chives, pepper, grated cheddar cheese, parsley

1. Peel potatoes, rinse and cut in half.
2. Place in large pot. Fill with enough water to entirely over potatoes.
3. Boil for approximately 40-45 minutes (until fork can be easily inserted)
4. Drain water from potatoes and add the rest of the ingredients.
5. Mix on high until all ingredients are incorporated.

Serves: 6
Serve with salad or your favorite vegetable dish.

Using skewers for your meatballs is a great idea! I will have to try it!

This menu sounds great! I make Teriyaki Meatballs that sound similiar and thread them of wooden skewers. My kids love them! Thanks for sharing these great recipes. ...
