The Art of Conversation

If your child has problems with spelling, get them into reading. If they're having trouble expressing themselves, get them into reading. If they're having trouble concentrating, get them into reading. No, reading is not the cure for every ill, but along with a good dollop of caring, attentive conversation from you, they'll become more switched onto the importance of language, words and communication. This can only benefit them in the long run. Start a conversation with them right now. Ask them what they've been reading and be ready to listen.
