The beauty of word games is clear. They cost next to nothing and are incredibly portable. All you need is pencil and paper and sometimes not even those are necessary. Games like I Spy, Twenty Questions and Acrostics are excellent for long bus and car trips, can even be played on family outings or while shopping. They’ll make learning fun, because the kids will forget they are learning. All they will remember is the fun they had with you and go through life with a positive attitude towards words.

crosswords

word tag
