The Trap of Marital Rapebe more of an anger rapist, someone who expresses rage, hatred or contempt for his wife with sexual degradation. A husband who uses only enough force to coerce his wife to have sex has characteristics of a power rapist. He will seek control through threats of bodily harm, or intimidate her by means of a weapon. He uses sexual assault as a means of reassuring himself of his adequacy. The more perverse the husband's interests run sexually, the farther he is willing to go to force his wife into submission. His characteristics are closer to that of a sadistic rapist. His behavior frequently escalates to murder. One of the last things that Rachel told me before we parted company left me with alot to think about. I think they will give you something to think about too. "I never thought that for better or for worse included sacrificing my self-respect to my husband." For more information see Why Doesn't She Just Leave?
