Mmm. Egg nog, buttermilk, whole milk, ice cream, whipped cream, a million kinds of cheese ... where would we be without dairy products? We'd be a lot hungrier!

Rather than pick out award-winning sites, which I did just six months or so ago, I decided to listen to my stomach and devote February to more dairy-related Web sites. And I'm glad I did. I just have a few to add to my ever-expanding list o' sites, but those I'm adding are really something.

The New Zealand Farming Directory at http://www.nzfd.co.nz/ is one of the most thorough agribusiness Web sites I've seen. Though it is specific to New Zealand and not specific to dairy farming, the resources there are great (if you're in New Zealand). The Oklahoma State WWW Library's dairy section at http://www.ansi.okstate.edu/library/dair... is another tremendous resource, with everything from links to dairy farming organizations to a link to the "Swedish Cow-Babe of the Month" humor site.

The University of Wisconsin Center for Dairy Profitability site at http://www.wisc.edu/dairy-profit/ is another great boon to dairy farmers. There are online publications available for download and a healthy list of links to dairy- and agriculture-related Web sites as well. The Canadian Dairy Farm Directory at http://www.rkde.com/candairydir/ is probably my favorite dairy site yet. The design is wonderful, and the information is vast. Though it concentrates on Canada, there is information here which dairy farmers everywhere can use.

Whether you like it frozen, fresh, whipped, sweetened or fermented, milk is everywhere -- even online.
