Stop Growing!"Stop growing" I said, and watched him ride his toy tractor away at 100 miles an hour, dodging the furniture and dogs...while he laughed. "Stop Growing" I pleaded, and he let out a joyous "NO!" while he climbed the sofa to watch the cows across the street. "Stop Growing" I cried as he put on his own shoes and proudly came to show me the strings squished into the sides-cause he still can't tie. "Stop Growing" I whispered as he slept, nursing, with one leg thrown over me and holding on tightly with his baby/toddler hands. "OK, Mumma", he mumbles-mouth full of milk... My son turns two today and although part of me keeps hoping he can stay my little one, the other part thinks his growing up is a most wonderous thing to behold... Happy birthday, Gabriel Benjamin Rawson...
