Rhyming Rabbits & Rodents & More - Part II

and asks to know her name.

So her home we found, my life upside down with digging chewing and more.
And of course there were times she'd leave land mines hidden on the floor.
She had overcome these her only faults, she even found a way
to give of herself with all she was, be a friend and still obey.
She learned beyond most other dogs, and would even give a show
for company that came to visit, or anywhere we'd go.

She'd ride on the back of my scooter and loved to face the wind.
Would roam wherever it took us, just to be with her friend.
To her my grandpa bonded .She was so special, he loved her so.
She stayed with him when from their house it was time for me to go.
When it was time to visit sheĆd come running and make my heart take flight.

She would love to venture into the forest with me to take a hike.
Her heart had never judged me, there was always love within her soul.
She built a life on love, and now beyond this life she goes.
This time is now so solemn, I can't find where's the essence of a man.
Emotion overtakes me ,fighting tears while crying all I can.

Lord let me love at her level.

SQUIRREL ALERT: At long last, squirrels of America have their very own week to celebrate the glory of squirreldom. And wouldn't you just know, it would come in October when the working squirrel is too busy stocking up for winter to really party!

Why not take a little of the pressure off your squirrelly friends this fall? Celebrate the first National Squirrel Awareness week (Oct. 3-9) by stocking your squirrels' favorite birdfeeder with a few extra nuts.
