Sweet Tooth Tantalizers

Here are some of my favorite dessert recipes that are quick and easy-to-prepare. Your sweet tooth - and family - will be begging for more!

CHOCOLATE SQUARES

INGREDIENTS:

2 packages semisweet chocolate chips
1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Combine chocolate chips and condensed milk and microwave on high for 1-2 minutes. Stir well. Microwave another 1-2 minutes more or until mixture is smooth and chocolate chips are melted.

Add vanilla and stir. Pour mixture into a greased 8 inch square pan, and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until firm. Cut into squares. Keep stored, tightly covered, in refrigerator.

EGG CUSTARD PIE

INGREDIENTS:

1-1/2 cups milk
1 tbsp. butter
4 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
2-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
9-inch pie crust (unbaked)

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Scald milk and butter. Beat together eggs, sugar and vanilla. Stirring vigorously, gradually add milk and butter to beaten egg mixture. Continue beating until foam forms on top. Pour into prepared crust. Bake 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees. Cook 20 minutes more, or until firm. Cool and serve.

FRUIT CRUMBLE COBBLER

INGREDIENTS:

1 can pie filling of choice
1/2 pkg of yellow or butter cake mix (approx 1-1/2 cups)
1/2 stick butter or margarine (cut up)

DIRECTIONS:

Pour pie filling in a square glass baking dish. Shake dry cake mix on top until completely covered. Place dots of cut up butter all over top of cake mix. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

LEMON COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:

1 box lemon cake mix
1 stick butter or margarine (softened)
8 oz package cream cheese (softened)
1 egg

DIRECTIONS:

Mix together all ingredients until well blended. Drop by teaspoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

PINEAPPLEBERRY DELIGHT

INGREDIENTS:

1 can sliced pineapple
1 can pie filling (blueberry is my favorite)
Non-dairy whipped topping

DIRECTIONS:

For each individual serving, place 2 sliced pineapple rings on small plate. Scoop 2 tablespoons of pie filling in the center. Top with a dollop of non-dairy whipped topping.

PRALINES

INGREDIENTS:

3 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 stick butter or margarine
2 cups pecans

DIRECTIONS:

Mix together first 3 ingredients over medium heat and gradually bring to a boil; then add pecans. Slowly cook to the soft-ball stage and then remove from heat. Let mixture sit for a couple of minutes, then whisk or beat just a little to thicken. Drop by the tablespoonful on a buttered dish or platter. NOTE: When pralines have cooled, you can wrap each individually in tin foil or colored plastic-wrap tied with a bow for gift giving.

OREOS ICE CREAM

INGREDIENTS:

3 egg yolks
14 oz can Eagle Brand milk
