The Silence of the Pyramids

In that day there shall be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt and a pillar at the border thereof. It shall be a sign and a witness unto the Lord of Hosts in the land of Egypt. (Isaiah 19:19)
Pyramids - They sit in the middle of the Egyptian desert, silent and aloof. But are they really silent? Perhaps not. There may be evidence that they tell, not only their own story, but the history of mankind and of the world, past, present and future. It may be hidden in the very structure of the pyramid, and, in particular, in the structure of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Using the shape, size, number of blocks, etc., mathematicians and scientists have come to the conclusion that indeed, there may well be secrets in those silent stone walls. By multiplying and dividing certain areas of the length and width, they have discovered they reveal things like pi and the distance from the earth to the sun. 365 blocks make up the base - one for each day of the year.

How did these might stone monuments come into existence? Over two million blocks were used, each one weighing about two and a half tons. The Pyramids tower to a tremendous height, as tall as a forty-story building. Who built them? It doesn't seem possible that the early Egyptians would have the knowledge or the ability to construct something like this, even with all their "slave power." Did they have the assistance of ancient astronauts from outer space? Are the Pyramids somehow related to the people from the lost continent of Atlantis who were said to have great technical knowledge? Someday we may know. Someday the very walls themselves may reveal this knowledge. At the present, though, it is all a mystery, as is the reason behind the building of these huge edifices.

One thing that has been discovered: The shape of the pyramid does have a special power. It may not be a magic power, but it seems to come close. Here are some of the claims made:

1. Sleeping beneath a pyramid improves health by increasing energy and relieving aches and pains.
2. Things like asthma and allergies are improved.
3. Weight loss is easier.
4. Plants thrive beneath a pyramid.
5. Foods stay fresh longer.
6. Water tastes better if kept beneath a pyramid.
7. Razor blades remain sharper longer.

Are these claims true? A lot of people believe them, and

I've always been fascinated by the pyramids and by Egypt. I've also often wondered about a link between the pyramids of Egypt and those of Central and South America.

Cleopatra? Yes! I look forward ...
