When the eclipse of the sun Millions of years ago, prehistoric man cowered in his cave as the sun disappeared and darkness fell at midday. An eclipse was a part of the unknown, a thing to be feared. Early explorers and adventurers with a knowledge of the time of an approaching eclipse used the disapperance of the sun to prove to the native population that they were gods and had a control over the sun and the moon. Again, fear of the eclipse was a contributing factor. On August 11, 1999, the sun will once again disappear. And, once again, people are beginning to cower in fear. From the Biblical prophets to Edgar Cayce, to the Native American pelpe, all speak of great earth changes to come. Are these indeed the "end days?" Will the coming millennium see the end of the world, or a shift into a time of peace and prosperity for all? The truth? No one knows. The total eclipse of the sun is expected on August 13, 1999. What can we expect? It's also a time of great astronomical importance. The Aztec calendar also places great emphasis on this date. As a day when we can turn our dreams into reality.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour, no one
