SQ: That is fast writing!! Who are your favorite authors?

MC: My favorite book of all time is Cold Comfort Farm by Stella Gibbons. Of living authors, I can't get enough of Robert B Parker, Sophie Kinsella, Susan Juby, Jasper Fforde, and Louise Rennison, among others.

SQ: Is there anything you would like to add to this interview?

MC: As a writer, I have always treasured some advice my grandma once gave me: "You're not a hundred dollar bill. Not everyone is going to like you. Or your book." Whenever I get rejected (which still happens, quite often) I remind myself of this, and feel strangely soothed.

SQ: That is soothing. Thank you Meg, for sharing your fantastic insights!

MC: Thank YOU!

Meg
