Who to Blame?

Who to blame - for what we did not see?

I want to ask a question this time - so allow me to add some examples to make my question clearer.

Let's say you travel to Egypt, and you join some tours when you come here - what will you see then?

Okay, at least you want to see the grand pyramids at Giza if you never been here before. So you go to a travel agent and ask for a tour to Giza, maybe adding the first pyramid at Zakkara and the remains of the ancient capital of Memphis. Who don't want to see this along with the Egyptian Museum that among all its other treasures have the gold from the tomb of TutAnchAmon.

You were to Giza and did see the pyramids?
You got a nice tour you say.
Very good, and how did you like the 4700 year old solar boat, was that not amazing? This 43 meters (140-foot) barque - the oldest remaining boat in the world that today is preserved intact in its own museum. Not only old, but with its sleek curves for sure one of the most beautiful ships ever made.

Did not see it? So you went to the Giza plateau and did not see this fantastic Pharaonic ship? The tour did not include this you say, the travel agent never told you about it?

Who to blame?
The agent for not including this or you for not knowing all in advance?

Went to the site where the ancient capital Memphis was you say - great!

So you know that before Cairo of today was established - only one thousand year ago, Memphis on the west bank was in periods the administrative capital of Kemet ("the black country" as the ancient inhabitants called Egypt)?

On the east bank - opposite Memphis, was the religious capital of Yunu - or On as its named in the Bible.

This was where the grand temple of Yunu / On was located. In the beginning of time itself where there was nothing in the universe, Yunu was the place were the first solid element came out of the nothingness. It was a mound, formed like a four stepped pyramid and called Benben.

On Benben the sun god Atum rose, the creator god who gave birth to the moisture with the goddess Tefnut and air with the god Shu. Shu and Tefnut gave again birth to heaven with the goddess Nut and earth with the god Geb (note that we hear talk about "father earth" and not the normal "mother earth"). Heaven and earth gave again birth to Osiris, Isis, Seth and Nephtys - but that's another story... Here we focus on the religious center Yunu / On, where a very important temple was built on Benben itself.
