So let this monument of Egypt's Western Desert be a short introductory article for upcoming articles I hereby promised you from this unknown area. I will introduce you all to Dr. Mohamed Rafaat Abdelmomen from the next article on. To me he represents the Egyptian Western Desert. The famous desert traveller Lama says that he must have been born on the hood of a jeep in a sand dune. I meet Dr. Mohamed first when he was Chairman of the Dakhla Oasis. Later he was President for Farafra Oasis and is now just under the governor of this part of the Western Desert - in Khargha Oasis. But all this and more we will come back to, we will even go fishing in the desert...

My good friend Brian Hughes had a pre release look at the article and on the brink of release came up with this link saying it maybe was related somehow... Say no more, but do have a look - seems there is some nature-desert-space links out here. Brian have just have changed his topic from Freeware to Freestyle - so maybe I will be getting more freestyle links like this from him in the future ((-:
