Canned "Ordnung Muß Sein"!

Some years back I shared a large studio with a friend and colleague. He was educated at a fine art academy in London, then moved to live some years in Berlin in the early '80.

With *Return of the Canvas* to the art scene, that was "the" hot spot to be. When West Germany poured money into the island of West Berlin, even artists profited from this window exhibition to the east . . .

My colleague told me that for him, maybe the most unique thing he experienced in West Berlin was what he defined as the "German Soul". Standard example was that even the the Punks - of German origin - showed their identity when they came to a street crossing.

If there was a empty street in the middle of the night - no car from any direction - devoted skin heads, punks - to the bankers wife - stopped for a red light. He or she would just stay there on the side walk, watching a empty street and patiently wait until the lights turned green again. Then he or she would cross the street very correctly via the marked crossing.

In Oslo where we shared studio, even lawmakers would not bother with such an strict organising of human life when not needed. But in Germany the ruler was still Herrn "Ordnung Muß Sein" ("it has to be order").

"Ordnung Muß Sein" Software

As I have to admit that I "love" organising software, one could maybe think there lived a German Soul deep in this writers heart?

Rather the contrary I have to admit. I "love" organising programs because these provide canned organising. In short, such programs allows me even as a travel agent - to be myself - which is to be "highly unorganised".

By finding the best programs in this category I can rest assured that these *Canned Germans* follows the rulings of Herrn "Ordnung muß sein".

A program of this kind which I already have presented is xReminder Pro. A brilliant program that just is getting better and better. This is where I put all the new arrivals.

The creator (of the program that is...) - put in a airplane for me as one of the event-pictures one could choose from, and since then I made some own colours on these airplane (as customisation is part of xReminders key features). White plains for confirmed arrivals, and green plains for additional *meet and assist* service, and so forth. See this screenshot of how it works for me.
