Life is too Serious... Part2mentioned that the program gives you free form and templates notes - and connect email or URL addresses from within the notes. To enable us to find tons of information it has a very good search, which let you search on text or date. Amigo! eliminate repetitive typing with it's "PDQ" system, exchange notes via email (those you share informatin with who don't have Amigo! can download a free Amigo! reader) - export notes to HTML or text format files - download management - drag/drop options - manage zip file information from inside the program - phone dealer - import data from delimited text files - a very good backup and restore function (very important as you don't want to loose all you precious data if the computer crash) - reminders and alarms - calendar - even a option to recover deleted notes - send to any folder from within the program - scan documents from scanner and record index notes in Amigo! - send and receive email - shortcut bar - encryption - spell check - custom toolbars and folder icons, and some more... Don't let all the features kick you over - even I got them instantly via the programs intuitive design a good tutorial as help file. Screenshot of Amigo! Pro here. Back to where I somehow started. Should I start to hope that Treepad should be developed with unlimited functions, the program would suddenly become a "Amigo!-program". Opposite - if I dream about a tiny Amigo! - then I would get a "Treepad-program"... Thirdly, should both be part of larger "all-in-one" software, I had to open both and quite some more just to use the small Treepad. I believe strongly in the right to choose, and to use what you need when you need it. Treepad and Amigo! Pro are parts of the programs I open and use daily, and eCleaner have joined this group in just a few days. For those who like huge all-in-one program to organise their work (and life), you will not find them even mentioned here. For those who believe in the value of useful small pearls, I promise to present you for even more of such organising pearls. These programs are useful for all, but for me as an online operating travel agent - they have become "friendly helpers" I would not live without.
