Ever read *real* facts trying to convince you that in China an average family have 1.8 children, in United States 2.1 or 6.2 children in Angola (data from CIA World Fact Book).

Ever been thinking which of these average families will love their last child the most? The Angolan parents and their small child (2/10th in size or features), the US parents with their tiny 1/10th child or the Chinese parents whom nearly got it all with their 8/10th child?

I belong to those who always wonder *what kind* of February do we get this year - 28 or 29 days? All this because our solar system refuse to follow our logical system down here.

The ancient Egyptians had some 5000 years ago their 12-month year - each month with 30 days. Same year five extra birth-days for five of the main gods. The last 1/4th of a day did not fit in (then either) and was collected in a gigantic "year". Meaning that every fourth year the beginning of the year was moved one day. Why do I start an article about organiser software with this?

Expect it somehow have connection with that I some weeks ago read an Editorial Director of a leading online PC site - complaining that there where no perfect organiser and PIM software around. "Perfect" he wrote, and made me think about defect children born by average parents and the many calendars of Egypt...

But as travellers we need a bit organisation, if not for anything else than put the flight times in a place we trust we can be reminded from. Before we go out and enjoy being disorganised that is...
