To Find or Not to Find... Part 2

IMPORTANT NOTE

A small note can be very important - but highly confusing when there get too many of them... So let me end this article with what I believe is an important note.

Who have not put a lot of important information written on small notes, then lost them or used ages to find them? In my last 12 years I have survived by always carrying my leather bound Time/System around. Offline that is. What worked offline, don't always work online - the software that should provide "same" product for the computer as the leather bound version, did not work for me. The area around the computer soon filled with white or yellow notes - impossible to find when you needed - and impossible to make a system of.

Next of course was computerized sticky note program. Then I could at least write my notes inside the PC and not around - but with all the space inside a computer, they where soon as difficult to find inside the computer as outside. Oh yes, most likely I have tried the one you use as well...

So software that copies my leather bound organizer is not working, while "notes program" that copy all my disorganized notes do work. "Do work" in the meaning that they give me about the same mess inside as outside my computer...

One alternative is of course a good tree form organizer - but as much as this setup work for most information, small notes drown in a more complex program of this type. Then - just some few days ago, I found a small program. Less than half a Mb in download, and so free for gadgets that you almost forgot to try it out. But I did!

Small notes are still around - trying to decide if they should disappear in the chaos or by help of my small daughter. Strange part is that the notes seem to have become less in number. Sometimes when I look for a new hotel rate that I know I wrote down somewhere - I suddenly find the note in the "Personal Knowbase".

Personal Knowbase made by Bitsmith Software, seem to be something as unique as a real PC functional notes replacement (and a bit more).

Yes I like gadgets as most of us, but not for a program that is supposed to take care of something as important as my small notes. Why? Well just ask yourself why people write notes on small pieces of paper and not in a huge book?
