Good Luck Sandman

A lot of people may hold resentment towards the Sandman for leaving ECW. But I don't. He left for a slightly different reason then guys like Raven left for. He didn't leave purely for the money. He left so that he could have more security for his growing family. His injuries to his neck, forced him to have to retire from ECW activity. If you have constant injuries to one part of your body, ECW is not for you.

Granted, I would not have picked the Sandman to go to WCW. I mean he definitely will not get to do his cane swinging, beer drinking, ass kicking gimmick over in WCW. No way. You just know that he will be given some stupid gimmick and angle from Eric Bischoff and WCW will screw him up just like they did Raven and Saturn.

But then again, maybe WCW will do right by the Sandman. Give him a decent gimmick and let him run with it. I mean they also got Chris Jericho and Dean Malenko from ECW and look at them. One is arguably one of the best reasons to watch WCW TV and the other is a member of the 4 Horsemen. So that makes WCW at 50% when it comes to former ECW talent.

So I guess all we can do at this point is wait. Wait to see what WCW does to the former Sandman, James Fullington. Hope and pray that WCW will do right and give Fullington the chance at stardom that he has always wanted. Or we can watch while WCW screws up another wrestler's career. My heart says to go with WCW doing right but my head says that the Anti-Christ will triumph, in the end.
