Gore earns pro-choice endorsement
Vice President Al Gore won the endorsement of the nation's largest abortion-rights advocacy group this week.
On Feb. 15, the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League announced its support for the Democratic presidential hopeful, making its first endorsement of a presidential candidate during a primary campaign.
ABC news reports that when speaking to NARAL members in Washington Gore said this election would be critical to a woman's right to choose. "An anti-choice president with an anti-choice majority on the [Supreme] Court appointed by that president," Gore said, "could completely reverse and overturn and do away with Roe vs. Wade."
