Diapering Decisions

One of the many choices expectant parents have to face is whether they will use cloth or disposable diapers. Some expectant parents have never changed a diaper and I see much ambivalence about diapering when I teach childbirth classes. So,we discuss diapering and practice it in class.

If you have never changed a diaper before, do not worry. It's not hard to find a seasoned mother or father to show you the ropes or to learn the basics in a childbirth or parenting class. I've also collected a few links for parents trying to decide on disposable or cloth diapers as well as tips for using and caring for cloth diapers.
