Many bands of the current day cite post-punk groups as major influences. From nu-metal bands like Deftones and Linkin Park, to the New York indie scene of the Strokes and Interpol, younger artists have demonstrated post-punk's massive impact. But what do you really know about the early 1980s musical movement that presaged New Wave? Now no fair using the internet; the only tool allowed is that oversized noggin of yours (or if your stuck, you can always ask your spouse, which is particularly helpful if your spouse is, say, the original drummer for Gene Loves Jezebel.).
