on the album, namely 'Ziggy Stardust' and 'Lady Stardust'. Breaking down these songs just to their core reveals that it is Bowie's skill, and Bowie's skill alone, which makes the album so good, not some cunning producer disguising poor work with expensive effects.

As can be gathered The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is a brilliant effort. A concept album, it is almost like a musical journey from the first song to the last. No praise is too high.
