Eamon O'Tuama - Behind Every Life

Irish born New Yorker Eamon O'Tuama has been called the Irish Bruce Springsteen. High praise, but well deserved. Behind Every Life combines traditional Irish music with modern rock, pop, and folk. O'Tuama's voice sounds more like Billy Corgan than Bruce Springsteen, but he does share the Boss's musical passion and gift for writing powerful songs that paint a vivid picture that draws in the listener. Behind Every Life is a compelling and eclectic collection of glorious Celtic-flavored music.

Unwritten Law - Elva

Southern California punk rockers Unwritten Law move more toward power pop on their fourth release. Elva is their most diverse CD yet, utilizing elements of pop, punk, reggae, rock, and electronica. It's also their most accessible, with several MTV and radio friendly songs that could land them in the same echelon as fellow alt-punk groups like Lit and Linkin Park. There are a lot of these type of groups that have sprung up lately, but Unwritten Law has been around for a while. Their experience, musical diversity and variety, and ability to actually play their instruments make them stand out from the crowd.
