You’ve probably heard a local radio station that plays “the best of the 70’s, 80’s and today”. That’s exactly what this soundtrack is. It’s an eclectic collection of some cool songs. From the 70’s there’s Leo Sayer, Looking Glass and Heart, from the 80’s Sir Mix-a-Lot, The Vapors and Spandau Ballet, and from today, Destiny’s Child and Fatboy Slim. It’s a strange combination of artists and songs, but it works. Charlie’s Angels has something for everyone.
The Villas – Secrets
The Villas are an Allentown, PA based husband and wife duet who really know how to write a pop song. Their music is an intriguing combination of 80’s style new wave and jangly guitar riffs. Their harmonies are tight, the production is solid, and the songs are well written. They’re one of the thousands of bands with music available on MP3.com, and it’s worth your while to check them out. The Villas have the talent to make it, it’s just the matter of being heard above the din.

It has meaningful lyrics, killer hooks, and the instrumentation is filled with minor chords and stripped down arrangements. He sounds more like Tom Petty or Bruce Springsteen than his dad. This journey into darkness makes you feel reborn by the end of the CD.

Jane Wiedlin – Kissproof World
I’ve always thought Jane Wiedlin was the most talented of the Go-Gos. Although Belinda Carlisle had a ton of solo hits and was the lead singer of the group, I always liked Wiedlin’s voice better. She’s shown a lot of range and musical diversity over the years, from the new wave of the Go-Gos to the pop of her solo work and the rock/punk of her group Frosted. Wiedlin took complete creative control of Kissproof World, from songwriting to production to releasing it on her own label. The results are spectacular. Her fourth solo CD fuses the diverse parts of her musical past into a hook laden combination of rock,
