He is a very talented singer and songwriter. His solo songs have a lot more depth and emotion than the old Men At Work songs do. After 20 years in the business Hay is sounding better than ever. Hit The Ground Running - Control Yourself
Hit The Ground Running has a great story. The band recorded their debut album in Canada in 1988. They were signed to a US label and recorded tracks for this album in 1990. During the recording sessions there were legal and other problems, the record wasn't released and the band disbanded. Ten years later these demo tracks were uploaded onto the internet just for fun. Within a month there was a huge response from record companies and fans wanting to know how to get this CD. Because of that, Control Yourself was released and the band has reformed and is currently working on a new CD. The music is melodic rock with powerful vocals and catchy hooks. Glenn Hughes - Return of Crystal Karma
Glenn Hughes is the former bass player and vocalist for Deep Purple and has also been in Black Sabbath and Whitesnake. Hughes is a versatile and talented artist, playing guitar, bass and singing lead on this CD. The songs are versatile, too, going from straight ahead rock to progressive rock to classic rock to blues and even a little funk mixed in.
