For over a span of only thirteen movies Stanley Kubrick left behind an indelible legacy that encompasses more true wonderment than most directors with twice the credits under their belts. When asked about how audiences view his films, if their interpretations were true to his own, Kubrick noted:
"I would not think of quarreling with your interpretation nor offering any other, as I have found it always the best policy to allow a film to speak for itself."
Indeed, they will continue to speak long after their creator...and we'll be listening.
