FY04 Bush slashed funding by 85 percent - nearly $1 billion - from the COPS program budget, devoting just $158 million to the program. His latest budget, for FY05, nearly eliminates the program, cutting its budget by 80%.
And all of this from an administration who's priority is homeland security and fighting terror. George W. Bush has failed America and its time for him to go.
